Kenneth F. of Arvada won $1,000 on a Ruby 8s Scratch ticket purchased at King Soopers, located at 5301 W 38th Ave in Wheat Ridge, according to an announcement on Apr. 11.

The win is significant for Kenneth, who has been playing since the Colorado Lottery began. This prize marks his largest win to date.

Kenneth said he bought the winning ticket while grocery shopping and plans to use his winnings for summer gardening. “A player since the Lottery began in Colorado, this is his biggest win, and he plans to use it for summer gardening,” the announcement stated.

Lottery officials congratulated Kenneth and wished him well with his gardening plans.
