The Denver Broncos are preparing for the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft, with projections from several analysts outlining possible selections for the team. The Broncos, who do not have a first-round pick after acquiring wide receiver Jaylen Waddle in March, hold seven picks in this year’s draft according to an April 20 report.
With the draft less than a week away, attention is focused on how Denver will use its remaining selections to strengthen its roster. Analysts from outlets such as NFL.com, ESPN.com, The Athletic, and CBS Sports have released mock drafts predicting the team’s potential choices across multiple rounds.
In the second round at No. 62 overall, Chad Reuter of NFL.com and Jordan Reid of ESPN.com both project running back Jadarian Price as a likely pick for Denver. Reid said: “It would come as a major surprise if Price isn’t the second RB off the board behind Jeremiyah Love. The Broncos make a lot of sense, and they could use a bigger runner who can slot in with J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey.” Other analysts suggest linebacker CJ Allen from Georgia or Anthony Hill Jr. from Texas could be considered; Nick Kosmider of The Athletic said: “Hill is only 21 years old. He would have the benefit of learning coordinator Vance Joseph’s defense behind two savvy veterans as he prepared to ultimately step into a starting role.” Mike Renner from CBS Sports predicts tight end Eli Stowers may also be an option.
For later rounds, projections include defensive tackle Chris McClellan (Missouri), linebacker Keyshaun Elliott (Arizona State), running back Emmett Johnson (Nebraska), tackle Austin Barber (Florida), edge rusher Logan Fano (Utah), tight end Jack Endries (Texas), tackle/guard Logan Taylor (Boston College), and tight end Nate Boerkircher (Texas A&M). Kosmider commented on Boerkircher: “At 6-foot-5 and 245 pounds, Boerkircher demonstrated an ability to use that lengthy frame to make catches in traffic, and his effort as a blocker also shows up during his work on special teams, which could give him an early path to playing time in Denver.” Other names discussed include Rayshaun Benny for his power profile and active play style; Noah Whittington for versatility as both running back and returner; Aidan Hubbard for consistent sack production; Jager Burton for experience across interior line positions; among others.
As teams finalize their strategies ahead of draft week, these predictions provide insight into how Denver might address roster needs following their offseason moves.
