The Denver Broncos announced on May 9 that a total of 60 players are participating in the team’s rookie minicamp, including all seven of the organization’s 2026 draft picks.
The minicamp brings together a mix of draft selections, college free agents, eligible veteran and first-year players, as well as pro and rookie tryout candidates. This annual event gives coaches an early look at new talent and helps determine which players may earn a spot on the roster for the upcoming season.
Among those attending are veteran or first-year players Nash Jones (guard), Caleb Lohner (tight end), and Jordan Miller (nose tackle). The group of draft picks and college free agents includes Brent Austin (cornerback), Luke Basso (long snapper), Dallen Bentley (tight end), Kage Casey (offensive lineman), Jonah Coleman (running back), Ahmari Harvey (cornerback), Justin Joly (tight end), Kolbe Katsis (wide receiver), Dane Key (wide receiver), Joseph Manjack (wide receiver), Dasan McCullough (outside linebacker), Tyler Miller (tackle), Red Murdock (inside linebacker), Tyler Onyedim (defensive tackle), Gavin Ortega (offensive lineman), Parker Robertson (safety), Cameron Ross (wide receiver), Miles Scott (safety) , William Wright(cornerback) ,and Taurean York(inside linebacker).
Pro tryouts include safety Brandon Hill, quarterback Nathan Peterman, defensive end Isaiah Thomas, and wide receiver Michael Woods. Rookie tryout participants feature a diverse group from various colleges across the country, such as Tim Anderson from Ferris State and E.J. Warner from Fresno State.
This gathering is part of the Broncos’ efforts to evaluate incoming talent ahead of training camp. The team will continue to assess player performance throughout offseason activities before making final roster decisions.
