The Denver Broncos announced on May 8 that they have signed 13 college free agents to their roster, adding new talent across multiple positions. The team also reported waiving tackle Marques Cox and defensive end Garrett Nelson in corresponding moves.
The addition of these players matters as it shapes the Broncos’ depth ahead of the upcoming season and gives opportunities for undrafted athletes to compete for a spot on the team.
Among those signed are California cornerback Brent Austin, Oregon long snapper Luke Basso, Georgia Tech cornerback Ahmari Harvey, Northern Arizona wide receiver Kolbe Katsis, Nebraska wide receiver Dane Key, TCU wide receiver Joseph Manjack, Nebraska outside linebacker Dasan McCullough, Iowa State tackle Tyler Miller, Weber State offensive lineman Gavin Ortega, Oklahoma State safety Parker Robertson, Virginia wide receiver Cameron Ross, Tennessee cornerback William Wright and Texas A&M inside linebacker Taurean York. The signings were confirmed by the team Friday.
Austin was a third-team All-ACC player in 2025 with notable statistics including 13 pass breakups and two pick sixes during his collegiate career. Basso finished his time at Oregon with consecutive second-team All-Big Ten honors and played in more than fifty games. Harvey led Georgia Tech with seven passes defensed last season while collecting over one hundred tackles throughout his career.
Katsis excelled at Northern Arizona both as a receiver and kick returner. Key caught five touchdowns for Nebraska after leading Kentucky in receiving yards during previous seasons. Manjack had a career-high year at TCU following productive seasons at Houston. Other signees like McCullough contributed significantly on defense for both Nebraska and Oklahoma; Miller started nearly every game at right tackle for Iowa State; Ortega earned All-American recognition at Weber State; Robertson served as a multi-time captain for Oklahoma State; Ross was recognized as an ACC Specialist of the Week while playing for Virginia; Wright appeared in forty-five games across five years at Tennessee; York twice led Texas A&M in tackles over three seasons.
With these additions—and an international player exemption granted to punter Jeremy Crawshaw—the Broncos’ offseason roster now stands at its maximum of ninety-one players.
