Broomfield man wins $50,000 from Emerald 9s Scratch ticket

Ronald D., a resident of Broomfield, Colorado, won $50,000 after purchasing an Emerald 9s Scratch ticket at King Soopers on US Highway 287. He bought the ticket while shopping for groceries and Christmas presents. Ronald works in computers and software and is a regular player of both Colorado Lottery+ and Scratch games. He plans to use his winnings to go on vacation.

“I hope you have a fantastic vacation with your win!” the Colorado Lottery stated in its message congratulating Ronald.
