Ronald D., a resident of Broomfield, Colorado, won $50,000 after purchasing an Emerald 9s Scratch ticket at King Soopers on US Highway 287. He bought the ticket while shopping for groceries and Christmas presents. Ronald works in computers and software and is a regular player of both Colorado Lottery+ and Scratch games. He plans to use his winnings to go on vacation.

The University of Denver women’s tennis team secured its twelfth consecutive Summit League regular season title after defeating Omaha on April 18. The Pioneers finished undefeated in league play this year and now head into postseason competition as top seed.
