CDOT announces four-day paving operation on US Highway 285 near Villa Grove

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin surface treatment work on US Highway 285 in Villa Grove starting Monday, September 22. The project will focus on the stretch of highway between Saguache and Poncha Springs. According to CDOT, the paving operations are scheduled to last four days, from Monday through Thursday, with daily work hours from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

During this period, motorists traveling through the area should expect full stops and alternating traffic patterns. Delays of 15 to 20 minutes are anticipated as crews conduct repairs on the concrete road surface at Mile Point 104 in Villa Grove.

“Motorists will encounter full stops, alternating traffic, and 15 to 20-minute delays while crews make repairs to the concrete road surface in Villa Grove (Mile Point 104).”
