The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will implement long-term closures of two ramps at the Interstate 25 and US Highway 50B interchange in Pueblo to facilitate ongoing construction work. Starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 10, CDOT and its contractor SEMA Construction will close the southbound I-25 off-ramp to eastbound US 50B and the westbound US 50B on-ramp to southbound I-25.

These closures are necessary for the demolition of the US 50B structure over I-25 as part of the interchange project. Access from southbound I-25 to eastbound US 50B and from US 50B to southbound I-25 will be restored upon substantial completion of the project.

Detours have been established for affected motorists. Drivers traveling westbound on US 50B who need access to southbound I-25 should use CO 47 via Exit 318. Those heading south on I-25 seeking eastbound US 50B should use CO 47 via Exit 101.

CDOT urges travelers to follow posted detour signs and allow extra travel time during construction activities.
