The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will conduct maintenance work on US Highway 160 (South Camino Del Rio) in Durango, starting October 1. The operations are scheduled to last two days and will take place between Santa Rita Park and Three Springs.

According to CDOT, motorists should expect congestion and reduced speeds from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday. Lane shifts and closures will occur intermittently throughout the corridor as crews work to fill potholes.

“Motorists traveling through Durango along South Camino Del Rio (US 160) should anticipate delays and slower speeds from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 1 and 2 for pothole patching operations,” CDOT stated.

The department advises drivers to plan for possible delays during these hours while maintenance is underway.
