CDoT schedules paving project for CO Highway 145 near Telluride

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin paving operations on Colorado Highway 145 south of Telluride starting Monday, August 18. The work is scheduled to continue through August 28 and will cover a three-mile stretch from the Society Turn Roundabout through Mountain Village Boulevard along Lawson Hill, between mile points 69 and 72.

Crews will be working Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. During these hours, motorists should expect full stops, alternating traffic patterns, and delays ranging from 15 to 30 minutes as paving progresses.

A maintenance alert map provided by CDOT shows the affected area on CO 145. According to CDOT, “Motorists can expect up to 30-minute delays and alternating traffic between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, from Aug. 18 to 28.”

The project aims to improve road conditions in this section of San Miguel County.
