The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is organizing two public open houses to provide updates on the Federal Boulevard Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. The project aims to improve transit along Federal Boulevard, which is recognized as one of the busiest transit corridors in the Denver metropolitan area.

Community members attending the open houses will receive information about the preliminary design of the BRT, proposed station locations, station design, and the next steps in the project. CDOT staff and project team members will be present to answer questions from the public. The events will also offer burritos, beverages, and activities for children.

The first open house is scheduled for Wednesday, October 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at The MAC, located at 3295 W. 72nd Ave., Westminster, CO 80030. The second session will take place on Thursday, October 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Westwood Community Center, 1000 S. Lowell Blvd., Denver, CO 80219.
