The Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) has opened submissions for its 2026 Farm Fresh Directory, an annual publication designed to help consumers find local produce and agritourism opportunities throughout the state. The directory includes listings for farmers’ markets, U-pick operations, roadside stands, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) producers, agritourism activities, and businesses such as wineries, farms, and ranches that sell directly to the public.

This year marks the second time that agricultural businesses can use a streamlined online portal to submit their information and pay the listing fee. Danielle Trotta, Colorado Proud Program Manager, said: “Farm Fresh is more than just a directory, it’s a celebration of Colorado agriculture and a fun, easy way for residents and visitors to shop local. With a digital listing and payment process, we’re saving time and hassle for our hardworking producers and small businesses, ensuring this vital resource continues to grow.”

Interested producers must complete an online form available on CDA’s Markets Division page at ag.colorado.gov/markets. There is a $25 fee per listing, with the deadline set for Friday, March 13, 2026.

The 42nd edition of the Farm Fresh Directory will be distributed across Colorado through libraries, extension offices, welcome centers, farmers’ markets, and other community partners. It will also be accessible online via the Colorado Department of Agriculture website.

For additional details about securing a listing in the Farm Fresh Directory, individuals may contact Loretta Lopez in CDA’s Markets Division at 303-869-9175 or by email at loretta.lopez@state.co.us.
