Colorado Department of Transportation to begin ADA curb ramp upgrades in Boulder and Lyons

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and Goodland Construction, Inc. will start a project in mid-October to replace curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The work will take place at 24 intersections along US Highway 36 in the Town of Lyons and City of Boulder, as well as four intersections on Colorado Highway 7 in Lyons. The project is scheduled for completion by late March.

The construction will be carried out in two phases. The first phase will focus on intersections in the City of Lyons from mid-October to mid-December. The second phase will address intersections in the City of Boulder on US 36 from mid-December to mid-March.
