The Colorado Lottery has announced an upcoming upgrade to its equipment, which will result in a temporary suspension of services. According to the organization, all Lottery operations will be unavailable from midnight until 11 a.m. on Sunday, September 14.

During this period, customers will not be able to purchase Lottery products, check tickets at retail locations, or claim prizes either at retail outlets or at Lottery claims centers.

Once the system is back online, the Colorado Lottery says players can expect a new and improved system designed to enhance integrity, security, and efficiency across all operations. The upgrade aims to provide smoother processes and greater confidence for participants.

“We know a pause in play isn’t ideal, but this short downtime paves the way for long-term improvements—and we think you’ll love the results,” stated the Colorado Lottery in its announcement.

The organization expressed appreciation for customer patience during the transition period.
