The Colorado Rapids will host St. Louis CITY SC at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park on May 9, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. MT and coverage available through Apple TV, Altitude Sports Radio, Tico Sports Spanish Radio, ColoradoRapids.com, and the Colorado Rapids app.

The match is important for both teams as the Rapids aim to maintain their perfect home record this season while St. Louis CITY SC looks for their second win of the year. The Rapids have won all five of their matches at home across all competitions so far this season, outscoring opponents by a combined margin of 15-5.

After advancing to the U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinals with wins over Union Omaha and Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC in their last two home games, Colorado returned to league play last weekend but fell short against Houston Dynamo FC in a closely contested match decided by a single goal.

St. Louis CITY SC enters Saturday’s game seeking improvement after recording just one win in ten matches this season and having not secured an MLS victory since March 21.

Designated Player Rafael Navarro has been a standout performer for the Rapids this year with seven goals and four assists—more than any other player in Major League Soccer so far—and has covered more distance than any striker in the league. His efforts have earned him two Team of the Matchday selections and one Player of the Matchday honor.

Last season saw Colorado take the series against St. Louis with one win and one draw; Homegrown forward Darren Yapi scored the decisive goal during their victory at DSGP and recently signed a new contract that keeps him with the club through the 2028-29 MLS season.
