A Colorado Springs resident, Austin A., won $1,000 after purchasing a $500,000 Crossword Scratch ticket at the Maverik store on Hancock Expressway. Austin works at the same store where he bought the winning ticket.

Describing his reaction to the win, Austin said, “just utter shock.” He is a fan of Bingo and Crossword Scratch games and shared that he plans to use his winnings to buy a new bed.
