Colorado Springs resident wins $50,000 Powerball prize

William S. from Colorado Springs has won $50,000 in the Powerball lottery. He purchased his ticket at Players Cafe located at 1050 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Unit P in Lakewood, Colorado, and selected his own numbers as he usually does when playing.

A sales professional, William said he plays Powerball once or twice a week. Upon discovering his win, he described his reaction as “shock!” He plans to use the prize money for home renovations.
