The Colorado women’s lacrosse team, ranked 15th nationally, will play its final regular season game against Arizona State at noon on Saturday, April 25 at Kittredge Field.

This matchup is significant as both teams hold a conference record of 3-1 in the Big 12. The Buffaloes return home after two road victories: a win over No. 18 Denver, led by Rachel Kennedy’s five goals, and a convincing result against UC Davis.

Senior defender Jess Peluso set a new school record with three caused turnovers against UC Davis, bringing her career total to 99. Sophomore goalkeeper Elena Oh and senior midfielder Lily Assini received conference weekly honors following their performances; Oh earned her sixth Goalkeeper of the Week award this season after allowing only six goals across both games, while Assini was named Midfielder of the Week for the second time this year with five goals and an assist.

Saturday’s contest marks the 14th meeting between Colorado and Arizona State. In their last encounter during the Big 12 Tournament Semifinals, Arizona State defeated Colorado by a score of 18-12.

After the game, Colorado will honor its seniors—Maddie Shoup, Rachel Kennedy, Mack Hanlon, Jess Peluso, Molly Reed, Lily Assini, Mary Carson, and Caity Brower—for their contributions to the program. Tickets for both season and single games are available through CUBuffs.com/WlaxTix.
