Douglas P. of Commerce City won $7,500 playing the Colorado Lottery’s Millionaire for Life game after purchasing his ticket at a 7-Eleven located at 12241 E. 104th Ave. in Commerce City, according to a March 24 announcement.

The win highlights continued interest in lottery games across Colorado and showcases how players are engaging with new offerings from the state lottery.

Douglas said he specifically stopped by the store to try out the new game and later checked his ticket on the Colorado Lottery website, where he discovered that he had won. He plays Quick Pick numbers and has been participating in various Lottery games, including Scratch tickets, since 1999. This recent prize marks his largest win to date.

He plans to use his winnings for a vacation. The announcement congratulated Douglas on his $7,500 win and noted that trying out the new Millionaire for Life game proved successful for him.

As more players like Douglas try their luck with both traditional and new lottery games, such wins may encourage further participation in state-run lotteries.
