The Colorado State Fair will feature three nights of country music at the Big R Arena, following Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) events on August 28, 29, and 30, 2026. This year’s headliners include singer-songwriter Ian Munsick, multi-platinum artist Dylan Scott, and country music veteran Neal McCoy.

“From rising country stars to legendary acts, there is something for every country music fan this year,” said Andrea Wiesenmeyer, General Manager of the Colorado State Fair. “It’s more than just a tradition; it’s three nights of legendary rodeo mixed with high-energy performances that will send your summer out in style!”

Ian Munsick will open the concert series on Friday, August 28. He is known for his albums “Coyote Cry” and “White Buffalo,” which have collectively earned more than 900 million streams. Munsick’s documentary “White Buffalo: Voices of the West” has received multiple awards and festival selections. His latest album paints a picture of life in the American West. The PRCA Rodeo starts at 7 p.m., followed by the concert at approximately 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 and include rodeo admission.

On Saturday, August 29, Dylan Scott will perform after the PRCA Rodeo event. Scott gained attention with his triple-platinum single “My Girl” in 2016 and has continued releasing hits since then. The rodeo begins at 7 p.m., with Scott taking the stage around 9:30 p.m.; tickets are $50 including rodeo admission.

Neal McCoy headlines Sunday night on August 30. McCoy has released fifteen studio albums and achieved commercial success in the 1990s with platinum records such as “No Doubt About It.” The album included two number one singles: “No Doubt About It” and “Wink.” McCoy’s career includes several Top Ten hits into the early 2000s. On Sunday, the PRCA Rodeo starts at 5 p.m., with McCoy performing around 7:30 p.m.; tickets are $40 including rodeo admission.

Rodeo action continues Monday evening, August 31. Tickets for both concerts and PRCA Rodeo events go on sale March 4 at 10 a.m. Additional concert announcements are expected as fair dates approach.

Tickets can be purchased online at ColoradoStateFair.com, by phone at 1-800-514-3849, or in person at the fair box office. Entertainment tickets bought before August 28 include general fair admission for up to a $15 discount.

This year marks special anniversaries: Colorado celebrates its statehood’s 150th anniversary while the United States observes the signing of the Declaration of Independence’s 250th anniversary. The Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) is organizing commemorative events under “Setting Colorado’s Table: 150 Years of Agricultural Legacy.” More details about these celebrations will be announced soon.

The Colorado Department of Agriculture leads efforts across over thirty-six thousand farms and ranches statewide that drive economic growth and ensure consumer protection through food safety programs. The department employs more than three hundred staff members who support agriculture—from cattle ranching to pollinator health initiatives—and works to connect residents with local products while promoting environmental stewardship throughout Colorado.
