Culvert repair project to start Dec. 8 on US Highway 50 in Cañon City

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin repairs on a culvert along US Highway 50 in Cañon City starting December 8. The work will cover a two-mile section from 15th Street to Justice Center Road, between mile points 279.33 and 281.65. According to CDOT, the project is scheduled for completion by the end of March.

Insituform Technologies, LLC has been selected as the contractor for this project, which has a budget of $1.45 million.

The construction zone runs just east of downtown Cañon City and aims to address infrastructure needs along this segment of US Highway 50.
