Northern Colorado men’s golfer Matias Koropeski was named Co-Men’s Golfer of the Week, the league office announced on Apr. 15.

The recognition follows Koropeski’s strong showing at the Shark Invitational, where he finished fourth individually and played a key role in helping Northern Colorado secure the team title. He delivered a par on the playoff hole to clinch the win for his team.

Koropeski led Northern Colorado in the final round with a score of 2-under 68. He started with a front-nine score of 32 and closed with a back-nine score of 36, helping pace his team during critical moments. This is his first weekly honor for the 2025–26 season.

A junior from Posadas, Argentina, Koropeski has become an important member of UNC men’s golf through consistent performances in recent tournaments.

Looking ahead, supporters can continue to follow updates about Northern Colorado Bears Men’s Golf online and on social media.
