The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has launched a new advertising campaign in Colorado’s 8th District, expressing gratitude to Rep. Gabe Evans for his efforts to make the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction permanent. The ads, running on radio and digital platforms, thank Rep. Evans for voting in favor of the deduction and preventing what NFIB describes as a significant tax increase on small business owners.

“Making the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction permanent is a big win for Main Street,” said NFIB Colorado State Director Michael Smith. “By voting to protect this tax relief, Representative Gabe Evans has given small business owners in Colorado the certainty they need to grow their operations, continue creating jobs, and give back to their communities. NFIB appreciates his leadership in standing up for small businesses in our state.”

The deduction was first introduced as part of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. It allows eligible small business owners to deduct up to 20% of their qualified business income, aiming to help smaller firms compete with larger corporations.
