Northern Colorado baseball will return home for a four-game homestand at Jackson Field, starting with a matchup against Air Force on April 28. The Bears will then resume Summit League play over the weekend against Omaha.

The upcoming games offer an opportunity for Northern Colorado to build momentum as they continue their season. Fans can follow the action through live stats and watch coverage on MidcoSports Plus.

In their most recent series, Northern Colorado split two games with South Dakota State after weather shortened the schedule. Brandon Sanchez led the team offensively during that stretch, batting .500 and driving in five runs. He also hit a home run and played strong defense without recording an error.

The Bears have shown consistency at the plate this season, hitting .271 as a team with contributions from players such as Jaden Stone (.355), Logan Pruski (.319), and Wilson Kieffer (.327). They have drawn 160 walks and maintained steady defensive play with a .965 fielding percentage. Pitchers Jake Storey, Reece Wagner, and Ethan Louthan provide experience on the mound.

Air Force enters Tuesday’s game with a 21–20 record overall but has struggled on the road while excelling at home. The Falcons are hitting .311 as a team and have demonstrated power, speed, and patience at the plate. Omaha holds a 14–21 record overall with key offensive contributors including Jackson Trout (.375) and Henry Zipay (.348).

Supporters of UNC Baseball are encouraged to contribute to the Diamond Club, which helps fund facility enhancements like the Jackson Field Turf Project along with technology upgrades for student-athletes.
