The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has announced that the concrete box culvert under Interstate 25 at Exit 108, also known as Purcell Boulevard, will be closed overnight on Sunday, November 23. The closure is being implemented to allow for maintenance work and is intended to ensure the safety of both work crews and motorists.
According to CDOT, the road work will begin at 7 p.m. on Sunday and continue until 2 a.m. on Monday, November 24. During this period, drivers who need to access northbound I-25 are advised to use Exit 104. Traffic traveling on Purcell Boulevard will be detoured southbound to Exit 104 before heading northbound again.
“Working hours will be from 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 23 to 2 a.m., Monday, Nov. 24 Detour: Motorists needing to access northbound I-25 must use Exit 104. Traffic on Purcell Boulevard will be detoured southbound to Exit 104 to then go northbound,” according to the department’s announcement.
A map identifying the location of the culvert repair closure at Exit 108 was provided by CDOT for public reference.
