William D. from Parker won $10,000 after purchasing a Decades of Dollars Scratch ticket at the National Western Stock Show in Denver. The ticket was bought at the Colorado Lottery booth. William, a retired Air Force veteran, said he plans to use his winnings to pay bills and save the remainder. According to William, this is his first major win after playing for 10 years.

His sister referred to him as “the luckiest guy she knows,” to which he responded: “you have to play to win.”
