A Parker resident, Michelle C., has won a $5,000 prize from the Colorado Lottery’s Lucky for Life game. Michelle, who works as a veterinarian and only plays the lottery a few times each year, purchased her winning ticket using QuickPick at King Soopers located at 17761 Cottonwood Dr in Parker.

Michelle said she plans to use her winnings to pay bills after recently spending money on a new water heater and plumbing. “Splurging” on these home improvements made the win especially timely for her.

The Colorado Lottery congratulated Michelle on holding onto her ticket for what it described as a much-needed win.
