Paving project on US 50 Monarch Pass begins with expected delays for motorists

Paving work is set to begin today on the west side of US 50 Monarch Pass, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. The operations will take place from August 18 to August 20 between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.

During this period, drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes and alternating one-lane traffic as crews carry out paving activities along the route.
