Brighton home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Brighton rose by $18,050 while total sales increased by 9.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 354 homes sold, with a median sale price of $358,050 - a 5.3% increase over the $340,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 323 homes sold in Brighton in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Brighton for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,087, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
