Thornton home prices rise in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Thornton rose by $15,300 while total sales increased by 12.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 717 homes sold, with a median sale price of $365,300 - a 4.4% increase over the $350,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 635 homes sold in Thornton in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Thornton for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,235, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
