Centennial issued the following announcement on June 11.
The C-470 Express Lanes from I-25 to Wadsworth Blvd. are scheduled to be fully open by Sunday evening.
The Express Lanes will be free until mid-August while the tolling system is being tested. Watch for signage indicating the lanes are open to traffic. Drivers will need to use caution while getting used to the new lanes and be mindful of merging into and out of the lanes. Also, please use caution through the interchange at I-25/C-470/E-470, with the lanes open to traffic the configuration may be different than what the driver is accustomed to. Drivers will be able to directly connect to toll lanes onto C-470 from I-25 and E-470.
