Denver home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Denver rose by $20,000 while total sales decreased by 35.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were 2,272 homes sold, with a median sale price of $445,000 - a 4.7% increase over the $425,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 3,507 homes sold in Denver in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Denver for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,698, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
