Rising home prices in Derby in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Derby rose by $22,400 while total sales decreased by 88%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $276,500 - a 8.8% increase over the $254,100 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 50 homes sold in Derby in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Derby for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,204, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
