Denver median home prices rose by 94.9% in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Denver rose by $224,000 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $460,000 - a 94.9% increase over the $236,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Denver in the first half of 2019, as well.

The median sales tax in Denver for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,816, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
