2021: Home prices in Inverness increased

The median sale price of a home sold in 2021 in Inverness rose by $75,500 while total sales increased by 63.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2021, there were 36 homes sold, with a median sale price of $599,500 - a 14.4% increase over the $524,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Inverness in 2020.

The median sales tax in Inverness for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,233, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for 2021.
