The second half of 2021: Aurora (Arapahoe County) experienced a 19.8% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Aurora in Arapahoe County rose by $71,000 while total sales decreased by 13.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 3,358 homes sold, with a median sale price of $430,000 - a 19.8% increase over the $359,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 3,896 homes sold in Aurora in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Aurora for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,705, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
