Washington, D.C. — Colorado U.S. Senators Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper celebrated the unanimous adoption of their resolution congratulating the Denver Nuggets on their championship victory in the 2023 National Basketball Association Finals.
“Over the course of the season, the Denver Nuggets made Colorado proud every step of the way. Led by a once-in-a-lifetime talent Nikola Joki? and Coach Michael Malone, the Nuggets outplayed their competitors and represented the resilient spirit of Colorado,” said Bennet. “The Nuggets’ first-ever championship win is a historic moment for Colorado and the dedicated fan base that has offered unrelenting, passionate support to the team.”
