Of the 5,723,176 citizens living in Colorado in 2021, 77.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 4,460,441 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 2,248,684 were male, constituting 50.4%, and 2,211,757 were female, making up 49.6%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Colorado during 2021 was higher than the national average, which stands at 77.5%.
