The Colorado Legislature has commenced a new term, welcoming 23 new lawmakers. This session presents an opportunity for citizens to remind both the legislators and the Governor of the significance of Main Street businesses in maintaining the health of state and local economies.

Following last month's ballot, constituents are encouraged to express their views on key issues currently under discussion. These include supporting reduced regulations, opposing large labor unions, and advocating for tort reform. Such engagement aims to ensure that small business concerns are considered during legislative decision-making.

NFIB continues its efforts to collaborate with legislators to prioritize small business needs. Members are invited to contact NFIB State Director Michael Smith at michael.smith@nfib.org or Grassroots Manager ML McGinty at ml.mcginty@nfib.org for further inquiries or concerns.
