The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has published its biennial voting record for Colorado's 74th General Assembly. This record encompasses 14 significant votes on topics such as workforce development and employer mandates.

Among the legislators, Rep. Mike Lynch (HD 65), who is also an NFIB Small Business Owner Member, achieved a perfect score of 100%. Additionally, ten members of the Senate and seventeen other House Representatives received scores exceeding 80%.

"Though the General Assembly advanced a handful of reforms that support the small business economy, far too many bills that increase the cost of doing business were sent to Governor Pollis’ desk and signed into law," stated NFIB State Director Tony Gagliardi. "At a time when Coloradans can least afford higher prices, next session, the General Assembly ought to reverse course and ease the regulatory burden, so that Main Street can continue to create jobs, raise wages, and invest in our communities."

It is important to note that the NFIB Voting Record does not account for every factor considered by legislators when casting their votes nor does it provide a comprehensive profile of each lawmaker. The 2024 Voting Record includes key votes on issues from workforce development to employer mandates.

For those interested in further details, a complete copy of the voting record is available.
