Last week, NFIB Colorado organized two in-person events in Denver aimed at small business owners. These gatherings provided a platform for entrepreneurs to connect, discuss their concerns, and learn about the organization's efforts to oppose a tax increase on small businesses.

The first event took place on Tuesday at Crooked Stave, where attendees participated in a roundtable discussion. The focus was on NFIB's campaign to make the 20% Small Business Deduction permanent and ways for members to engage in this effort.

On Wednesday, Holly Wade, Executive Director of the NFIB Research Center, led another meeting at Ink & Drink. Wade addressed various topics concerning the small business economy both in Colorado and nationwide with local entrepreneurs.

Participants also had the opportunity to print t-shirts featuring NFIB’s slogan “Stop the Massive Tax Hike,” supporting the initiative to maintain the 20% deduction.

NFIB Colorado expressed gratitude towards its members for attending these discussions and thanked Crooked Stave and Ink & Drink for hosting.

For those who missed these events, NFIB encourages downloading the NFIB Engage App. The app provides updates on legislation affecting businesses at state and federal levels and offers tools for engagement.

The app includes features such as action alerts on legislative matters, opportunities to contact lawmakers, invitations to events and webinars, and news about NFIB's activities across states.

Members are reminded to create or update their profiles within the app for a tailored experience with NFIB. More information is available at the NFIB Advocacy Center website.
