The NFIB Colorado PAC has announced its endorsement of 34 candidates for the upcoming Colorado General Assembly elections. This political action committee, made up entirely of NFIB members across the state, supports eight Senate candidates and 26 House candidates who are considered pro-small business.
"Small businesses are the foundation of our state’s economy, creating good-paying jobs and thriving communities," said NFIB State Director Tony Gagliardi. He highlighted a recent survey indicating that rising costs significantly impact small businesses. "Main Street Coloradans need strong advocates in Denver. These candidates understand the challenges small business owners face and support policies that will make it easier to do business in our state."
Gagliardi expressed pride in announcing these endorsements for the 2024 general election and urged all Coloradans to support these pro-small business candidates.
Early voting is set to begin on Monday, October 21, with Election Day scheduled for Tuesday, November 5. Voters can find more information about registration and other frequently asked questions on the Secretary of State's website.
The endorsement from NFIB Colorado PAC holds considerable weight in these campaigns due to the high voter turnout among small business owners and their employees. They are also known for encouraging friends, family members, and acquaintances to participate in elections.
NFIB’s political backing is based on candidates' positions and records concerning key small-business issues. The full list of endorsed candidates includes:
