Cynthia V., a resident of Colorado Springs, has won $5,000 with her Wild Cherry Crossword Scratch ticket. The winning ticket was bought at a 7-Eleven located on 7725 Fountain Mesa Road in Fountain. Upon scratching the ticket, Cynthia was initially incredulous about her win. After realizing her fortune, she shared the news with her husband, who needed some convincing to believe it was true.
Cynthia is retired and intends to use her prize money for travel and purchasing new tires.
