Daniel G. of Vail won $1,000 on a Loteria Grande Scratch ticket purchased at Edwards Station Operating LLC in Edwards, Colorado, according to an announcement on Apr. 10.

The win occurred when Daniel bought the scratch ticket during his lunch break. He is a restaurant manager and has been playing lottery games for two decades.

After discovering his win, Daniel said he plans to put half of the prize money into savings.
