Joseph R. from Westminster has won a $100,000 prize playing Powerball. He purchased his winning quick-pick ticket at a King Soopers location in Arvada. Joseph has been a consistent player, participating in the Saturday draws since the game began.

Upon attempting to redeem his ticket, Joseph was informed by the store clerk that he had secured a significant win and was advised to visit a Lottery claims office. At the office, staff provided confirmation of his winnings. “I read it and mouthed, $100,000?” Joseph said.

After learning of his win, Joseph contacted his wife Juanita. The couple plans to use the prize money for home renovations and upgrades to Joseph’s 1968 Camaro. The remodeled bathrooms are expected to benefit their family, which includes three children and eleven grandchildren.
