CENTENNIAL: Coming Soon: Wheels & Reels Movie Nights

Centennial issued the following announcement on June 9.

Join the City of Centennial at The Streets at SouthGlenn for the first Centennial Wheels and Reels summer movie series! Bring the family along for an exclusive movie showing from the safety and comfort of your vehicle.

The first movie in the series, 'Sonic the Hedgehog' (rated PG), will be shown at 7:30 p.m. June 18 at The Streets at SouthGlenn. Get tickets here.

Our goal is to offer residents a fun and safe experience. The City is following all CDC and social distancing guidelines.

  • Cars will be parked at the required minimum distance (one space between vehicles) in accordance with these safety guidelines.
  • Attendees are asked to remain in their vehicles during the movie showing.
  • We encourage carpooling ONLY with people in your immediate quarantine circle.
  • Only attendees within vehicles are allowed to attend this event.
  • If there is a need to leave the vehicle, we strongly encourage a face-covering be worn and social distancing be maintained at all times.
  • If you are sick, running a fever or have been exposed to COVID-19, please stay home.
More details will be provided once you register to attend. Limited tickets are available, so get your tickets are soon as possible. 

No admittance will be permitted without a ticket. Guests who arrive without a ticket will be turned away. This will be strictly enforced. There is absolutely no re-entry. This event will take place rain or shine. 

Various restaurants at Streets at Southglenn will be offering specials for the night of the movie showing. Grab a bite to eat, snap a picture, and share your experience with us on social media @CentennialGov using the hashtag #thinklocalcentennial to be entered to win a $50 gift card to a local Centennial restaurant!
