Colorado Governor's Office issued the following announcement on July 22.
Gov. Jared Polis today signed Executive Order D 2020 143, memorializing his declaration of a state of disaster emergency on July 13, 2020, due to the Elephant Butte Fire in Jefferson County and allowing for resources and support to be dedicated to the fire. As of July 18, 2020, the fire is 100% contained.
