A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the Colorado Department of Higher Education regarding the salaries of state university employees on November 14, 2024.
As part of our commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Centennial State News requested records under the Colorado Open Records Act § 24-72-201 et seq. The requested records specifically pertain to a list of all university employees' compensation, including those from community colleges.
The detailed information sought includes the name, title, university name, employment type, and compensation amount for each employee. This data is critical in ensuring transparency and accountability in public institutions.
