Broomfield County Government issued the following announcement on Dec. 23.

The program is based on an approved application for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s (CDPHE) 5 Star Certification Program. This certification program will allow certified businesses to operate at restrictions ONE level lower than the current Broomfield County designation on the state’s Dial if businesses can show enhanced public health protections are in place.
